I'm aware of that. Thiazi and that Surt fellow have just been the most immediate threat to our mortality is all. So this would concern the big tree of worlds, then. I suppose getting a garden hose or two and trying to fill up the lake again wouldn't fix things. And would probably be impossible.
But it would be pretty funny to watch in a sad sort of way. I don't know who to consult on this matter with Odin passed the fuck out. You get any info from your trip guides?
It certainly seems that way. So long as things are relatively peaceful, it makes running this city less daunting. I just wish there was something we could actually do, apart from travelling and dying.

Their reluctance to let us do those things could cost all of us our lives.

Aaah, so they withheld information! That makes sense. They are the ones in power, so they only release information on a "need to know" basis, determined on what they think we need to know. While they are quite hospitable, letting us all come here, that does sour my opinion of them a bit.
I can see their side of it but look where such methods got me in the past. Relying solely on playing it close to the chest shuts out a wealth of opportunities.
I can see that now even if it is admittedly kinda hard to fuckin swallow. I have an ego to content with, I think they have the same issue.
I honestly couldn't tell you. I've said I'm willing to work with them, what they decide is what they decide.
We're in agreement about the hands need revealing and likely will be. This isn't going to get better and when survival is on the line, people aren't gun shy about ensuring they'll live.
