Ring, ring...ring, ring... beep!
Hello! You've reached Jane Crocker. Sorry I couldn't pick up at the moment, but if you could please leave your name, number, and a brief message, I'll get back to you as soon as possible!

[Since he won't tell her his real name and is, in her perspective, probably a split personality. Hahah, oh Jane.]

Vincent? That's a nice name.

Mmm. It's sad. I...feel for him. I know what it's like. I don't like to call him that either, now that I know what he is.
no subject
[She knows how it feels? Huh...so does "Miss Fitz" have some sort of embarrassing first name?
God damn it Jane]Maybe he'd like to take up a penname of sorts? At least for when he works on your show. That way, no one listening will confuse him for anyone else.

[Of course Lust now knows those aren't even the man's actual looks. Not that it matters, she doesn't care what the man looks like. He has a good heart, he's kind, he's intelligent. And they have such a great deal in common.]
[And dear god, why is she blushing?]
I've suggested something of the sort. It's what I did.

[Aaaaaa the mystery deepens, but this lady's letting her do this fun radio thing and she's nice, it would be rude if Jane pried.]
Huh! You could've fooled me - but I assume you'd rather be called Miss Fitz for your own reasons, yes?
no subject
Oh, yes. It's a bit of a joke. The Miss Fitz Story Hour. Misfits. My actual name is Lust.
Which someone else thought was a good joke. I tend to disagree.

[She blinks, then her eyes widen, and Jane grins.] Goodness! "Miss Fitz" - why didn't I get it sooner? Hoo hoo, that's so clever, I love it!
[She lets her giggles die down, though, as she considers this actual name.] Ah...hm. Well, it more sounds like a name that puts itself upon you, than something to make assumptions about you for. It's not as if we get to choose the names we're born with, after all.
[Honestly, whoever your mother is, Jane has some concerns for her, which is...hah. Again, God damn it, Jane.]
no subject
Thank you, I was rather proud of that. I've never done this sort of thing before, but it...seemed like it would be fun.
Mmm, it's thematic. My brother is Envy. Our other brother, who's since left this place, was Greed. But still, assumptions are made. I can't blame anyone.
no subject
[Ah! There's a spark of recognition in Jane's eyes.] Oh, Envy is your brother? I met him at Obon!
no subject
Yes, he is. We live together here in Goldenrod, with some friends. Greed and I bought a house, when we'd been here a year. Our sharks needed a pool, it seemed the easiest solution.

Or seem to be.

Oh, yes. That happens sometimes. Pokemon falling from the sky like rain. Only it was more of a hurricane or typhoon, in this case.
no subject
[It's all she can think of to describe it, bless her heart.]
What time of year did that happen?
no subject
I...don't remember. Spring, perhaps. Greed and I were on our trip together, so it couldn't have been fall...

I beat up the moon, recently. This...this is simply that sort of place.

Before I came to this place, I wasn't quite human. Not that different, but I was possessed of certain abilities beyond that of normal humanity. On certain weekends, such as the weekend of the moon, powers and gifts such as those are restored.
A friend of mine and I were...emotionally charged, let us say. I'd recently lost my life's companion. We took advantage of our returned strengths to purge some much needed emotion. By punching and kicking and clawing the moon's surface for an afternoon.
It was quite cathartic.

[It's still weird, but you had her assuming the worst.]
So, there are times where, if we had powers, we can get them back again? How bizarre...
