I've been enjoying it. I like being creative.

Yes, he is. We live together here in Goldenrod, with some friends. Greed and I bought a house, when we'd been here a year. Our sharks needed a pool, it seemed the easiest solution.

Oh, yes, Sharpedos. There was a...storm of them. We ended up with a pair, and they're happiest in water.

I would hope so, if they're actually sharks. But how can there be a storm of sharks?

There are some differences, of course, but they're very clearly sharks. They're quite happy in the pool, and salt water's better for the skin than chlorinated water anyway.

Oh, yes. That happens sometimes. Pokemon falling from the sky like rain. Only it was more of a hurricane or typhoon, in this case.

A storm of sharks. It was certainly something. We were on the water, when it hit.

I...don't remember. Spring, perhaps. Greed and I were on our trip together, so it couldn't have been fall...

That's odd...you wouldn't associate the springtime with that kind of weather.

Or snowstorms in the middle of summer, but weather sometimes abandons all sense and order here.

If it functioned normally. It doesn't. Nature...I think nature is more of a living and understanding force here, than in other places.

I beat up the moon, recently. This...this is simply that sort of place.

Oh, yes. It's a bit of a long story...

Before I came to this place, I wasn't quite human. Not that different, but I was possessed of certain abilities beyond that of normal humanity. On certain weekends, such as the weekend of the moon, powers and gifts such as those are restored.

A friend of mine and I were...emotionally charged, let us say. I'd recently lost my life's companion. We took advantage of our returned strengths to purge some much needed emotion. By punching and kicking and clawing the moon's surface for an afternoon.

It was quite cathartic.

...Oh. Is that all? I had thought something preposterous like the entire moon coming to life might've happened.

So, there are times where, if we had powers, we can get them back again? How bizarre...

Oh god no, nothing like that! No, we simply took out our aggressions on the moon.

Mmhmm. If you weren't human, you will return to that state. It happens twice a year, it lasts a handful of days.

Well, if you need to take out aggression some way, it might as well be on the moon.

[Jane pauses for a moment, thinking about this carefully.] I...was human, before I came here, but...also sort of not completely anymore, I guess you could say. I could fly. And, erm, to be honest, I had a kind of unimpressive power compared to my friends. But I suppose getting to fly again won't be so bad.

[If that's all that comes back from her time in the game, she won't be too upset.]

Well, you're in good company. There's plenty of us with a similar story. Human, once, but then not completely.

Flying sounds like it would be an enjoyable ability. Mine was mostly stabbing things very well.

I suppose your life here is incredibly different from the life you had at home, if you could do that.

It was my nails. They extended into lances that were harder than stone.

It's very different, but much preferable. This is a good place, a kind place.

It...it really is, I agree. I like it very much here, and I haven't even seen all of Johto yet.
