It's not too bad. Roxy and I have a lot more help now so it's not just us. We used to have a cook but they left. It's cool though we picked up some stuff. I alternate between Dj and bartender, depending on my mood.
It was the usual kind of disappearance. It was a damn shame. I liked their food. We get quite a few patrons a night. It's important to the community to keep their spirits high and a bar like ours is all about that. It originally belonged and was founded by one of the versions of Dave, possibly his first time here.
Oh, I can understand keeping spirits up. And that helps keep everyone colorful and happy, right? So we don't have to see anymore of those grey maids like in the castle.
Geez, how many times has he come through here? You'd think one would stick.
There's been five versions so far, not counting what happened at the festival. We had four running around at the same time, one of them old as dirt. My bro, respectively.
The maids at the castle give me the creeps. You'd think having the constant flow of traffic from the palace would restore them. Instead they're the faceless people who tell us whats what and give off a creepy impression of a horror flick.
They are my brothers, but the oldest one was from our universe. The infamous media king, and that sets him apart. He'd been pulled before the fight that took him out. We did a bunch of dumb shit and it was pretty cool having a guardian for the short time it lasted.
That might very well be the case. What a better way to get them degrayed? I can't think of one.
Aw, Dirk. I'm glad you had that time with him. I think that kind of thing is important!
Well it is the place that has the most traffic. There may be some parts of the city where people like us don't frequent very often and are still gray. It's the best way to keep things going.
Yeah. I keep hoping he'll come back. I really miss him.
You have to wonder what this city looked like in all of its glory. If we play our cards right we can probably get it back to that or something close. What do you think, Crocker?
Oh, I definitely think we can, but it'd take a lot more than just adding a touch of color I think. What with all the rebuilding that seems to go on lately, recovery could take a fair amount of time.
Basically we need to commit to this war and bring it to an end. With the constant damage and shifts in our attention, all efforts to recover this place are patch jobs. It's a work in progress in any case.
That's what it feels like, honestly! A patch job! Not only in fixing things, but when we take part in the fight. We get thrown into something big, and then it draws back, and something else happens, and we're distracted until we're thrown in again. Maybe if the battles could be pushed further away and honed in on until the end, the city could be rebuilt and stay whole. I don't know, I'm not good at plotting that sort of thing.
Day 413
I'm sure you'll find something.
I think she just introduced herself as Kirigiri, nothing else. It's not really a big deal, just unexpected.
Day 413
Day 413
She has a restaurant, and I work there.
Day 413
How do you like working with her?
Day 413
Busy, but fun.
I don't think I've ever had a dull moment there.
What about you and the bar? What's that like?

Was it the usual kind of disappearance, then?
And that does sound like quite an eventful gig!
I assume you get a lot of patrons.

That's how I think of it.
They are rather off-putting, aren't they?
But I don't think it's their fault, the poor things.
Maybe they're switched out once they get better?
