Airlocked! Season 1 Observation Journal



This is where I'm recording my thoughts on the first season of "Airlocked!".

If I get upset, I'm going to Dad.

I am so mad right now...everything hurts on the inside. I can't even bring myself to think of anything else, I'm lucky I can write this out. But I'm going to try and channel that into tearing apart every little clue and hint that InterGal7 leaves behind.

- We already know some things about this setup. It's in the same simulation our season was in, but on the other side of the station. Bolton, Max, and Jamie met here. Everyone but Bolton and Jamie died. Blaze Dudely was an Overseer, and this was before he became a cyborg and went banana cake nanners. The other Overseer was a woman whose full name is Rox Petuu. I'm not calling her that. I'm calling her Giada. And many people we care about were taken and used in this premier season.

- Ugh...okay, so, I've...been neglecting writing anything down a lot, because I keep getting distracted oh geez, why sugar coat it, I've been bawling like a baby whenever I try if Roxy's on the screen. Arianna caught me watching alone, and now she's determined to watch with me...she got me to laugh about ectobiology. That was...nice. That was nice. I think I can sort of understand...how someone could fall in love with her, for sure. She must make Clarith very happy.

- Some of the people in there have suspicions that they're in virtual reality already.

- Giada and Blaze Dudely don't show up very often. They give very few answers, to the distress of most of the people there. Giada in particular is very, very frightening to look at. I don't think I want to know what kind of alien she actually is under the hardlight.







I fell behind on this. I really did. And I'm sorry. It's...proven to be a lot harder to actually...take notes, this time.

LUCINA CHAMPION EXALT Not sure if she's from anyone else's world, but she reminds me a little of Xander. Asks a lot of questions - likely from a world that isn't nearly as modern as most others. Initially panicked, but seems to be figuring out how to adjust as well as she can.

PROMPTO ARGENTUM CHAMPION INNER CHILD Noctis's best friend from his world. But...younger. I'm guessing there's stupid time shenanigans going on, but besides that...I'm really, terribly sorry to see he's here. The poor boy jumps at shadows! He's such a sweetheart and incredibly dedicated to Noctis.

MIKI NAOKI CHAMPION SUPPORT Another member of the School Living Club. I'm...going to absolutely launch this entire television network into the hottest sun I can find, this is fucked up. This is awful. I think there's only one girl they haven't gotten their hands on, now...I hope she's alright. So far, she seems to be fending well for herself.

I think, even beyond this, I've thought of you the most here, mentioned you the most, Jake troubles aside. No, even with them, so much has reminded me of you...how did it turn out like this? How am I alive while you're probably dead for good? I...I miss you, Roxy. God. I'm glad, though...that you're already making friends. Making friends and finding ways to enjoy yourself and all. Though for goodness' sake, you...don't have to recruit a bunch of pretty men to go on Janeyquest. Don't worry about Janeyquest. Let me worry about the possibility of Roxyquest.

LUNAFREYA NOX FLEURET CHAMPION ORACLE Noctis's fiancee from his world. Also supposed to be dead, and because of Ardyn to boot. I...I hate this, I hate knowing who should rightly be dead in their homes being sent to a slaughter like this, and being able to do nothing about it. She's really quite lovely, actually. Just...in demeanor, and poise. She knows how to hold herself.

KARAMATSU MATSUNO CHAMPION OF PAINFUL SECONDHAND EMBARRASSMENT, ETC. One of Choromatsu's brothers...I feel sick just thinking about him having two family members in this mess, Jesus Christ...his title's incredibly awful, though. But I don't really understand what's supposed to be so painful about him? He just seems like...a somewhat friendly guy who likes to be a bit more wordy than usual. What's wrong with that?

AKIRA KURUSU CHAMPION TRICKSTER I don't know if he's from anyone else's world. Kind of cute What the hell, Jane?! He's going to die, isn't that bad enough for your emotions? Um, let's see, he's...pretty quick to pick up on weird things going on, and...is rather helpful. Quite helpful to the others, even. And he's trying to investigate at night...I'm hoping so dearly that doesn't lead to his death. Hm...very...catlike. I...think he's supposed to have an accent? It's kind of cute, but, I don't understand why he feels like he should hide it.
