If people take in the Pokemon of others when they leave, why wouldn't all of them be taken in?
Where do the rest go, and why are these ones coming "back" to us?

there should be a place for them to go if their trainers are no longer here!
maybe
maybe pokemon have an instinct that tells them when their trainers are around
were supposed to have a super special bond with our pokemon like no other right?
so they got the signal that it was time to come home?
