I think I have a greater capacity for the fantastical, but I come from a place where a large portion of the population can transmute inorganic material at will. Things that are reality for me are fantastical for most. But I understand what you mean, too far out of the realm of possibility makes it difficult to immerse myself in the story.

...Of course sometimes real life does follow the more unlikely plots of novels.

Yeah...anything close to that in my world kind of came straight out of a video game, and wasn't common at all.

[Jane hums at that last bit, though.] I wonder...do you think, if our experiences were ever written down, would people want to read them?

Hmm. Some of them, I'm sure. I've thought a number of adventures we've all had here would make good stories.

If they're half as incredible as the ones I've gotten to take part in, they'd definitely be interesting in a book.

I wonder if any of the writers among us will draw inspiration from our annual adventures.

It'd be great if they did - though it'd end up being quite an ensemble cast, wouldn't it? I don't know if I could pick just one person to be a "protagonist".

[Since Jane's network post, Mabel had thrown herself into working hard on a care package for the older girl, wanting to surprise her with something since she was sad about her friends going home.

Good thing Mabel was a pro at making sweaters! (It still took the better part of three days though.)

Jane will find herself visited by a Dartrix who looks rather exhausted but proud nonetheless, having traveled all day to reach Goldenrod and make the delivery for his trainer. The lumpy package is attached to his leg and he'll promptly stick it out for Jane to take with a soft hoot, fluffing himself up more than normal.

Inside is a sky-blue sweater with a yellow smiling sun on the front of it along with some dinosaur stickers that Mabel had picked up in Pewter City. There's also a note!]

Dipper and I can't visit yet but I wanted to make sure you had something to cheer you up until we can! I know you're sad but don't worry! Your friends will come back! I know it!

Does it fit okay? I wasn't sure what size to make it so I just made it large. Even if it's a little big you can have floppy sleeves!

It fits wonderfully, thank you! Though it's a little too hot and humid to wear regularly, I'm going to definitely put it on throughout autumn and winter. :B
