August, or Augie as it's sometimes shortened, was received as an egg and hatched in...well, August, so that's what Jane decided to name him. Since he's Jane's first egg-hatched Pokemon AND her first shiny, she dotes and spoils him, but he acts like an angel. He's calm, obedient, and VERY willing and eager to learn new things, whether it be for battling or just from his trainer reading stories to him. Jane is his mommy, and he is a momma's boy to his core. Even after evolving, he looks up to Dinah and Poirot as if they're older siblings, and he still likes to lay on Jane's lap as if he is still small enough for pets. Upon evolving into a Delphox and gaining the Psychic typing, he found Psychic moves and abilities to be difficult to master, but has since grappled a hold on them, even though occasionally a Psyshock or two can still backfire. He works incredibly well with Madeline in double battles, but has become almost smitten with her since she reached her final evolution, and has begun to attempt to court her since she reached lv 100; lately his endeavours seem to be slowly working. He enjoys putting lemon juice on his food. August is thankfully not a picky eater, but he favors sour things.
