Gertrude wandered over to Jane's home on Halloween 2018, when her Dark types led her team on a prank-filled night of debauchery. She gently and sweetly began to eat up the garbage that her Pokemon had dumped all over the house, and Jane, distraught, was immediately enamored by this shiny child. Gertrude isn't a battler, but she greatly enjoys being a kitchen helper, gratefully devouring failed batches of sweets. She tries to not corrode what she interacts with, and is genuinely sorry whenever it happens, but Jane does her best to be sweet and understanding to her helper. While she'll eat anything, sour stuff is usually her go-to snack.
